Christian Workers of the Nineteenth Century by Barnett Smith

This appears to be a very rare and hard to find work. I bought my copy on Ebay from an American bookseller. Evidence of the fact that it is indeed a small world is afforded by the fact that this book was originally awarded in 1897 by the Carlisle Diocesan Education Society as a prize for Religious Knowledge to Tom L. Hayston in the 1st  Class. This book travelled to U.S.A. and is now in the library at The George Moore Memorial Hall in Mealsgate. Published in 1893 by the London Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge, just seven years after the his death, Chapter VII of this book is devoted to an account of George Moore's life. The only other copy of this book that I have managed to locate in in The British Library.
